The band OVERDRIVE was conceived in 2007, the brainchild of Jason Dasent, together with  singer/songwriter, Candice Corbie. 



Known for its signature 3 girl frontline, the band packs a powerful punch performing for corporate and private functions throughout Trinidad & Tobago. 



This busy outfit has performed at The Opening of the 50th Anniversary of Independence Celebrations at Tricycle Theatre, London in 2012, IFEA Festival Arts Expo, Texas, USA in 2011, Tobago Jazz On The Beach and top venues in Trinidad such as Anchorage and Movietowne. 2014 has started off with a bang seeing the band co-hosting/performing at the Rotary Clubs of Central POS & Maraval's 3rd Annual Jazz Under the Stars Concert. The Hott 93 /V8 Boys Grand Auto Show was next on their agenda. Most notably, the addition of new bandmember Cherise Knox added to the band's powerful delivery at this event. More recently, the band just returned from St. Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival 2014 where they played to an appreciative regional & international audience.



The band's three original compositions, (written by C. Corbie & J. Dasent) will be featured on the upcoming OVERDRIVE CD, carded for release in Oct 2014.
